William Gaylord, Jr., 56, was born on August 1, 1967, in Manhattan, New York to Annette Gaylord (Smith) and William Gaylord, Sr. William moved to Melbourne, Florida in 2011 where he later met his wife, Felicia.
William was a free-spirited man who loved life and was thankful for each day. In his eyes, each day brought an opportunity to meet somebody new, spark up a new conversation, or a new idea to include in his paintings. He enjoyed the most natural and beautiful things in life including sunsets. He was a talented man who in his free time, painted beautiful artwork. He enjoyed painting flowers, sunsets, and animals. One of William’s greatest accomplishments was becoming an entrepreneur in his early thirties, owning two clothing
stores. Unfortunately, William was later met with a challenge, that gave him a new perspective on life. He fell in love with driving for Uber and Lyft during desired times and it blessed him with the chance to meet new people and conversate about daily life, share wisdom or make jokes. You would never see William without a smile on his face.
Surviving William’s death are his spouse, Felicia Gaylord; three children, Shavon, Eric, and Shanay; three step-children, Ashley, Carl Jr., and Tyler; four sisters, Annette, Faith, Tanisha, and Shaniqua; four grandchildren (grand shorties), Niare, April, Zuri, and Shaniyah; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and devoted friends.
