Ricky David Mason

Ricky David Mason, age 62, passed away on February 27, 2026. He was born in Denver, Colorado, and later made his home in Melbourne, Florida.

Ricky worked as a truck driver and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, he enjoyed watching Denver Broncos football games, working on cars and trucks, and spending time hiking with family and friends. He loved the outdoors and valued the time he spent with those closest to him.

Ricky had a big personality—when he was in a good mood, he was funny, loud, and could light up a room with his laughter. He especially cherished his grandchildren, who meant the world to him and brought him great joy.

He enjoyed listening to music, watching TV, and action movies.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Barbara Mason; his children, Brandon Mason and Brittany Mason; his stepsons, Jeremy Willis, Joshua Willis, and Andrew Willis; his stepdaughter, Megan Dutton; his grandchildren; his brother, Scott Mason and wife Angela; his sister, Robin Seel and husband Jim; his nephews and nieces; and many family members, friends, and friends of our children who became family.

Ricky will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his humor, his strength, and the love he had for his family.
