"‭‭I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.‭‭" 2 Timothy 4:7
No truer words have been spoken about a man than Perry Thomas Stites Jr.
He was born on May 5, 1950 and passed into eternity at his home on October 5, 2023. He is preceded in death by his father, Perry Thomas Stites Sr., mother, Bernadette A. Kiggins and eldest son, Perry Stites III. He is survived in life by his beautiful wife of 50 years, Vicky Laite Stites, sister, Patricia Laite, and 12 living children, Nickolous (Whitney), Timothy (Nicole), Michael (Meagan), Bethany, Catherine (Jonathan), Samuel, Abigail, Victoria, Elizabeth, Alexandria, Perry IV and Emma. He continues to leave a legacy with 15 grandchildren, Michael Jr., Gavin, Annabeth, Seth, Lillie-Anne, Ella, Timothy Jr., Gabriella, Zachary, Sloane, Jaxson, Nolan, Beatrice, William and Jethro.

Perry was a state of Florida cross-country title holder, business owner, and became a state certified building contractor in Brevard County. He spent many years coaching and influencing youth through the Palm Bay West League. He kept the players tightened up, they respected him. And yet, all of these accomplishments pale in comparison to his witness for Christ. In his lifetime he served many years as a Deacon and Elder in the church. An influential children's minister from Sunday School to Vacation Bible School, he modeled that taking both God and the Bible seriously was the key to knowing Christ.

The apostle Paul in his multiple letters to the newly founded churches in the New Testament directly names men and women who have lived a life worthy of the calling. This can be said of Perry as well. It can also confidently be said that Perry has his own list of names that by his influence have had their lives radically transformed by his interactions with them.

His family believes he would say his greatest accomplishments were his family. He was steadfast, reliable, and the hardest worker you will ever meet. Perry was faithful.

"Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." 2 Timothy 4:8
Well done good, faithful servant.
