Michael Dee Hiser

Michael Dee Hiser, age 56, was born on February 9, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away on May 9, 2026 in Palm Bay, Florida. Michael was a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather. He obtained his Master’s in Counseling and worked as a Licensed Therapist. After obtaining his master's degree in counseling he was an integral part of passing legislation granting voting rights for felons in the State of KY. 

Michael was full of life, had the biggest personality and the best sense of humor there was. He was very active in AA, he believed in giving back to the community and helping others, as it was a driving force in his recovery. He remained vested in his sobriety of 23 years and his faith in God until the day he passed. 

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Hiser, his father Wilkie “Dee” Hiser, Stepfather Gary Babcock, and brother Raymond Babcock.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Krystin Hiser; son, Brandon Hubsch; grandson, Brandon Hiser; grandson, Bentley Hiser; granddaughter, Keira Hubsch; siblings, Theresa (Randy) Glendening, Sherry Hiser and Mark Hiser, as well as a plethora of nieces and nephews.

There is a celebration of life service in Florida on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 12PM at Club 62. 
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome.
