Lori Lee Vernon, 64, of Palm Bay, passed away on November 10, 2024. The viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00PM at Buggs Funeral Home.

Lori Lee Vernon was born on April 13 th , 1960, in Paso Robles, California to Carolyn Joan
Vernon and Gary Louis Vernon. Lori was their only girl and youngest child. Gary had a career in
the United States Army that frequently moved the family to different cities. Lori along with her
three older brothers lived in Altadena CA, Fort Stewart GA, Nellingen Germany and then
Aberdeen MD. Lori graduated from Aberdeen Highschool in 1978 and worked as a dental
hygienist until she moved to Tampa FL where she attended school to become a travel agent.
While in Tampa, she married and had her first child, Timothy A Hawkins in 1982. In 1984 Lori
moved to Colorado Springs CO and had her second child, Jennifer N Hawkins. Lori re-married
for a short time in 1989 and lived in Germany during that time before returning to her hometown
of Aberdeen, MD. Lori continued her successful career as a travel agent for several years until
moving to Palm Bay, FL along with her parents who retired in Sebastian FL. Lori’s career as a
travel agent gave her the opportunity to travel with friends and family and meet people from all
over the world. Lori unfortunately struggled with chronic health conditions and was met with
challenges as time passed by. Lori enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, making
jewelry and listening to music. Lori was kindhearted and loved everyone she touched. She will
be missed more than words can describe.
Lori departed this life on November 10 th , 2024. Surviving Lori’s death are her children:
Timothy Vernon and Jennifer Tomazinis; Mother: Carolyn Vernon; Brothers: Gary Vernon,
Dwayne Vernon and Mark Vernon; Sister-in-law: Donna Vernon, Patti Vernon; Son-in-law: Caleb
Tomazinis; Daughter-in-law: Heather Vernon; Other survivors include: six grandchildren and a
host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear and devoted friends.
