Kenneth Leon Herring "Bubba", 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 22, 2024.

Kenneth was born on December 27, 1946 to his beloved parents, who preceded him in death, Willie Florence Culbert-Herring and William Herring, two sisters, Daisy Billups and Lavetta Herring-Smothers, and three brothers, Bishop Eddie D. Herring, Columbus Jackson, and Donnie Ray Williams.

He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Melbourne, FL. He attended Brevard County School and graduated from Stone High School. He joined the United States Army, serving from 1964 to 1967, earning the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Grenade, and Marksman M16, receiving an honorable discharge. Throughout his time with us, his gentle, captivating demeanor and outlook on life touched whomever he met.

On December 22, 2024, he slipped away quietly to the other room to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Kenneth leaves to mourn his passing, three children, Kenneth Martin (Kristie), Angela Wilkerson and Kendria Jackson all of Louisville, Kentucky; ten wonderful grandchildren, Kelan, Kameron, Jalil, Gail, Maurice, Kayla, Zaria, David, Aaron, and Steven; four sisters, Carnethia Robinson-Smith (Robert) of Palm Bay, FL, Kathryn Herring of St. Petersburg, FL, Florence Herring of Fern Park, FL, and Melissa Herring of Melbourne, FL; two brothers, Willis Eugene Herring of California, and Wayne Billups (Tracy) of New Lisbon, Wisconsin; his very special friend, Erica and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

All services will be held in Louisville, Kentucky.
