In Loving Memory of Joseph Henry Honigsberg

Joseph Henry Honigsberg, 84, of Wappingers Falls, NY, a devoted husband, loving father, proud veteran, and esteemed member of the community, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Kathleen Honigsberg; his children, Joey and wife Denise, Scott and wife Rosemary, Mark and partner Sara and Margaret (deceased). He cherished each moment spent with them, guiding, nurturing, and instilling values that would shape their lives. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his children. Joseph was also a beloved grandfather to eight grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to nine great-grandchildren. His presence brought light and so much laughter to their lives.

Joe, also known as Joetin, was born in the heart of Manhattan, NY on April 3, 1940. He embarked on a journey filled with service, hard work, and profound love. A veteran of the United States Army, he served his country with honor and distinction, embodying the principles of duty and sacrifice. Joe's professional journey led him to become a proud member of Local 28 where he worked for three decades. He applied his craftsmanship as a sheet metal worker, leaving an indelible mark on the projects he undertook. He was also a proud member of the American Legion.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Paralyzed Veterans of America, in honor of Joe's memory.

As we mourn the loss of a remarkable man, let us also celebrate the richness of his life and the profound impact he had on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joe's memory will forever be a beacon of love and light in our lives.
