Durward Elmer McGrath, 68, of Rockledge, passed away on March 19, 2026. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 12:00PM - 4:00PM at Wickham Park Pavilion 1. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Durward are welcome to gather and celebrate a life truly well-lived.

Durward E. McGrath, a devoted father, proud veteran, and loyal friend, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

To those who knew him best, he was a man of great warmth who valued family and friendship above all else. He found immense joy out on the golf course, especially when he was playing a round with his close friends and his two sons. Those days spent on the greens are memories his family and friends will treasure forever.

He was a loving and dedicated father to his two sons, R. Thomas McGrath and Shawn P. McGrath. Durward proudly served his community and country in the Army National Guard. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing quiet wisdom, or simply listening, he was always around when needed, and never more than a phone call away. Durward’s family was his greatest pride, and his love extended deeply to his three granddaughters, Starr, Coral, and Ember, as well as his great-grandson, Liam and great-granddaughter, Hayden.
