Connie Darlene Guy

Connie D. Guy, 68, of Cleveland, TN died at the home of her daughter in Palm Bay, FL surrounded by family on Sunday November 10, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She spent her days alongside her favorite things in life, her cherished grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, doing word puzzles and playing games on her phone/computer. She attended Bradley Central High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Hoyt and Barbara Guy; common law spouse of 30 years: Joe Godfrey; sister: Judy Rouser; brother: Terry Guy and grandson: Logan Kennedy. Left to cherish her memory are daughter: Shannon Kennedy (Roy) of Palm Bay, FL; son: Nathan Godfrey (Candace); grandchildren: Jada-Ann, Tanner, Megan, Natalynn, Raylynn and Joelynn; great grandson: Lucas; sister: Melody Cooley (Randy); sister-in-law: Vicky Guy; step-mother: Harriett Guy; As well as who she considered her adopted sons: Chris Stringer, Taylor Lambert and Nick Maddux, along with several nieces and nephews. Per her request, there will be no memorial service.
