Colis Murray

Colis Seymour Murray, 88, of Warsop, Trelawny (Jamaica) and Brampton, Ontario (Canada) passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024 in Winter Garden, FL.

Affectionately called "P’Shaw" by those who knew and loved him, Colis leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and service. As a farmer, Colis served his community - always sharing the variety of his produce to those in need, and especially with the elderly. Colis’ departure is deeply mourned by his wife of 57 years, Olive Murray, (nee Williams); children: Joy, Eulalee, Delroy, Carol, Dahlia, Debbie Ann, Shane, Orrett, Arlene and Michael; grandchildren: Jody, Jhennel, Tamarly, Natalie, Kelita (Carr) Richard, Khevani, Stacy-Ann, Samantha, Kerron, Orane, Sherika, Kimone, Jakeel, Kelita (Smith) Jerome, Jermaine (Thompson), Marco-Dane, Ronique, DeMario, Matthew, Spencer, Shanice, Tanique, Malachi, Jermaine (Smith), Jevaughn, SheVaughnn, Natasha, Devroy, Kelvin, Jody-Ann, Trudy- Ann, Tyrique and Ethan; great grandchildren: Shania, DaMoya, Keeschon, Amaria, Kadence, Knox, Malyck, Jakeel Jr., Jenesis, Sanuri, Jaydon, Quincy, Marcia, Nylah, RJ, Graham Amelia, Jermaine Jr., (Smith) and Shevaunee; siblings: Vance, Ena and June, and countless other relatives and friends.

Colis is preceded in death by his father, Edward, his mother, Geta, his brothers, Marsel, Herbert, Lloyd and Hubert, and grandchildren, Theo and Cherice.

The viewing will be held on September 21, 2024 from 2:30 - 3:30PM at Metro West Church of the Nazarene. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3:30PM.
