Arthur Lee Amos, 72, of Palm Bay, passed away on October 12, 2022. He was born in Brunswick, Georgia on August 10, 1950 to the late Reuben Amos and Carrie Amos. Art, as he was known, was a graduate of the class of 1968 from Risley High School. He attended and graduated, Coastal Georgia Police Academy and worked with the Glenn County Police Department and Glenn County Sheriff Department in the late 1970's and early 1980's. He then went on to pursue his love for cooking and became a chef at various hotels after moving to New Jersey. Art retired from Greenbrook Nursing Home, in Edison, New Jersey as Supervisor Chef where he met and married his sweetheart, Winifred Rodgers.

In 2008, he retired and he and his wife moved to Palm Bay, Florida where he became the 'family' chef.
Left to cherish his memories are: his wife, Winnie; two daughters, Angela Smith and Antoinette Amos of Brunswick, Georgia; two bonus children, daughter, Leslie Davis of Duluth, Georgia and son, Thomas Davis and his wife, Rose of Palm Bay, Florida; one brother, Jimmy Amos; two sisters, Rosa Brown and her husband, Charles and Janie Billings of Brunswick, Georgia; six grandchildren and six bonus grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and four bonus great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
